The Undeniable Swag of a Southpaw
Think sideways? With pleasure!
Inscribed August 13, 2026
There is a particular kind of confidence that comes with being left-handed.
Not confidence in the conventional sense.
Something slightly more inconvenient.
A quiet suspicion that perhaps the world has been arranged incorrectly and you've simply learned to function anyway.
We adapt to right-handed desks.
Right-handed scissors.
Right-handed tools.
Right-handed assumptions.
And eventually, something happens.
You stop noticing that you're adapting.
You start noticing that you are very good at it.
There is a certain elegance to operating from the opposite side.
You don't always approach things the way everyone else does.
You find another angle.
Another entry point.
Another way through.
And sometimes that means you see something other people don't see—not because you're necessarily smarter, but because you're not standing where everyone else is standing.
Which brings us to the slightly embarrassing part.
At some point, you have to admit:
there is a little swag in it.
Not arrogance.
Well...
Borderline arrogance.
Just a tad. 😏
Because when you've spent your life adapting to a world that wasn't quite designed around the way you naturally move, there's something deeply satisfying about discovering that the thing that made you different may also have made you exceptionally good at finding another route.
The southpaw doesn't necessarily fight harder.
Sometimes they just fight from an angle you weren't expecting.
And perhaps that's the real charm.
We aren't trying to be difficult.
We just...
keep arriving from the other side.
So yes.
At some point, we need to face the truth.
😂
We're awesome.
And honestly?
The world can deal with it. 😏
One question awaits you.
