These Terms govern your use of the Truth Allegiance website and services (the "Service") operated by Truth Allegiance ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
Truth Allegiance is a publishing project operated by Truth Allegiance. You can reach us at hello@truthallegiance.net.
2. Acceptance
By accessing or continuing to use the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
3. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service. In particular you may not:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose, fraud, or spam;
- infringe the intellectual property rights of us or any third party;
- introduce malware, probe, scan, scrape, or interfere with the security or integrity of the Service;
- resell, redistribute, or share access to paid content (manuscripts, gated writings, or member-only material).
4. Intellectual property
All content on the Service: including manuscripts, scrolls, writings, images, audio, branding, and software : is owned by Truth Allegiance and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Purchase of a manuscript or membership grants you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to read and download the content for your own use. It does not transfer ownership or grant any right to copy, redistribute, or publish.
5. Service availability
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.
6. Payment, subscriptions, refunds & tax
Payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe. By completing a purchase you also agree to Stripe's applicable terms, including its Consumer Terms and Privacy Policy.
Applicable taxes (VAT, sales tax, GST) are calculated and collected automatically at checkout based on your location. Prices shown may be exclusive of tax where required by law.
Memberships renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel any time from your account page; access continues until the end of the paid period. One-time manuscript purchases are not subscriptions and do not auto-renew. Refunds are handled directly by us in line with our Refund Policy.
7. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
8. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, pose a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our policies. On termination your right to use the Service ends; we may retain or delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Notice.
9. Warranties & liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" with no implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Our total aggregate liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where the law forbids exclusion.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the seller's jurisdiction. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
